Description: First, the created tessellating patterns with equilateral triangles that they designed. These were colour copied to give them plenty of tiles to work with. Then, the completed tessellation was scanned and emailed back to them. Next your child edited a self-portrait photograph taken by a partner, either with a still camera or Photo Booth. This photograph was loaded into a web application called BeFunky. Here options were chosen relating to our last topic, e.g. Cartoonize, Pointillism, Impressionism, etc. for modifying the appearance of the photo. Following that, the title was created in the Flamingtext on-line application. Finally, all elements were composed in Pages or Keynote, and exported or saved as jpegs.
